Getting to Jokkmokk on your own requires that you first take the train or plane to Swedish Lapland. From Central Station in Stockholm, you can take the night train to a small station called Murjek situated 45 km east of Jokkmokk society. Another option is to fly from Stockholm Arlanda or Gothenburg to Luleå. Then, take the shuttle bus to Luleå bus station and wait for the bus to Jokkmokk going in the afternoon.
